THE ROLE
Our Planning & Supply Chain Manager will manage and coordinate all supply chain activities, including creating and issuing production plans which ensure that stock levels are maintained and our customer service targets are met. This role will also require a keen interest in long term forecasting, including analysis into its impact on resource, including labour and materials.

*Producing medium term plans, along with weekly and daily schedules to ensure customer service and seasonal stock build targets are met
*Utilise the Preactor tool to maintain a robust long term forecast, highlighting key areas such as capacity and labour hours by resource, and ensure an action plan is in place to ensure alignment to business strategy
*Drive the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) process, including Bill of Materials management, stock level reviews and labour planning
*Maintain optimal stock levels at all times, avoiding shorts and write offs on both finished goods and raw materials

Candidate Requirements

*Familiar with SAP (essential) and Preactor (or a similar planning tool/system)
*Experience and a keen interest in long term forecasting and Supply Chain
*Strong IT skills—in particular the ability to manipulate and analyse data
*Experience within FMCG would be desirable
*Confident communicator and able to build effective working relationships
